How can your group get involved?

Any voluntary sector organisation or community group based in Camden can become a member of CamdenCCEN.

You are welcome to attend any CamdenCEN open meeting where you can have your say. You get to nominate and elect the members of the CamdenCEN Executive Board.

Registering as a member also means you will be added to our mailing list and so you will be kept informed of all our meetings and events.

Camden Networks

Camden has a number of active VCS networks (see list below). Voluntary and Community Sector representatives on Camden's various Strategic Partnership Boards are nominated / elected through the relevant networks. CamdenCEN uses the expertise of some of these on specific strategic issues.

CCEN Executive Board Elections 2010

The CCEN Executive Board members are elected for a period of 18 months. The current board has been in office since 2008 and therefore elections are due to take place this year with the new board in place by April 2010. The timetable for the elections has had to be delayed due to uncertainty about future funding, once this is confirmed the exact timetable for the elections will be posted on this website.

CCEN Executive Board

CamdenCEN Executive Board is responsible for promoting and supporting voluntary and community sector participation in the Camden Local Strategic Partnership.

Board members are elected for a period of 18 months. The existing members term of office runs from October 2008 to March 2010.

To ensure that the wide range of voluntary and community sector groups are represented on the Executive Board there is a majority of places for front line organisations (working mainly with individuals.
